Good Company Café is a little place tucked back in the Main Street South Shopping Village in Huntsville, AL. It is a small little place with excellent food and service. As posted in several places in the store and online, it is a women-owned and chef-driven place. It is founded and ran by two chefs, one of them being a Huntsville native.
My father and I decided to grab some coffee there Sunday afternoon. Our first impression was the place itself. It is a cute little place that gives a sense of home like comfort. The service was excellent with any questions we had about the food and coffee. It was honestly difficult deciding on what coffee to get. The prices of everything is not bad.
I ended up trying something new, a single French Press ($4). I absolutely enjoyed it! I have never had anything like it so I didn't know what to expect. The French Press ended up coming in a container of its own with the cream, sugar, and flavored syrup separate. It is a stronger coffee than what I am used to, but it was exactly what I was looking for. My father got an iced coconut chai latte ($4.50). He said he loved that it had a flavor unlike any coffee he has had before. While we were there, we also enjoyed a salted caramel cupcake (unsure on price). Oh my goodness! If you ever get the chance to go to Good Company Café for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, you must try this cupcake if it is there!
My father and I absolutely enjoyed this place and can't wait to visit again soon! If you are ever in Huntsville, AL and have trouble finding a local coffee place, I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere, service, and food are excellent!
