Offbeat Coffee Studio 12/18

Offbeat Coffee Studio is located in the renovated Campus 805, which was previously known as Stone Middle School in Huntsville, AL. They are a coffee shop and a vinyl records store! This creates a retro look to the place. Although there is limited seating, it is still a comfortable place to relax and have some coffee and maybe a bite to eat. The employees are super nice! I asked what they would recommend, and instead of giving their opinion, they gave me information of the drinks, which helped me better decide what I would like. The price is a bit high for the amount of coffee you get, but it is well worth it for the taste of the drink!

I am not one to go for chai before choosing a drink with espresso in it, but I thought I’d try something new. I decided to get the iced Phat Sammy’s Hangover Cure because the substitution of coconut milk instead of regular milk sounded interesting for a chai latte. The blend of the chai, coconut milk, and pineapple juice was amazing! My mom got a decaf Naughty and Spice. It was a small 8 ounce drink, but it was perfect for her. The taste of this coffee is unlike any either of us have tried before. It had a bold “in your face” flavor that was very good. The orange that is mentioned in the description of the drink is part of the aftertaste more than anything. Overall, our experience was amazing. I cannot wait to return and get another coffee! If you get the chance to check this place out, I would highly recommend!
